Andreae pleated cardboard inertial filters, made of recycled paper with an accordion structure, are used to reduce paint overspray in dry painting booths and spray painting systems.
These Andreae filters are made up of two layers of perforated cardboard so that the air follows repeated changes in direction.
Due to its mass, the transported particulate matter does not follow the air flow and impacts against the walls of the ‘curtain filter’, adhering to it.
